Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born November 18, 1985. She was born in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix was aware that she had an aptitude for running when attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. After a few weeks of the first time she tried out the sport, she finished 2nd in the 200m race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix graduated from high school and subsequently signed an agreement for Adidas. In the year 2004, she enrolled in an institution called the University of Southern California, where her major was elementary education. Felix took home her first Olympic Medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics that took place at Athens Greece. She set a Junior World Record by taking 200m in 22.18 second. She became the youngest world athlete to win the 200 meters in the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007, beating her long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix placed consistently within the top three in her various competitions during the Olympics held during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
